2beGROUP s.r.o., in the course of this function, acts solely as an agent through the www.ALPINRESORTS.com website. 2beGROUP s.r.o. does not rent or lease winter sports equipment, does not provide ski training or courses, and does not operate as a supplier of accommodations. The contract for any booking or reservation is therefore entered into exclusively and only by and between the client making the reservation and the actual provider (winter sports equipment rental operations, ski schools, hotel operations, restaurants, etc.). 2beGROUP s.r.o. acts as an agent in the name and on behalf of the actual provider. The following terms and conditions therefore apply exclusively and only to its activities as an agent and do not influence or affect the terms and conditions of any contracts entered into as a result of its promotion.Go to top
By filling out the data entry fields and completing the reservation process, the customer authorizes 2beGROUP s.r.o. to act as an agent for one of the contracts described under a.). The customer is bound by the reservation entered into. The contractual obligations of 2beGROUP s.r.o. are restricted to acting as an agent of the requested contract.Go to top
Prices for equipment rental, ski courses, accommodations, lodgings and add-on products are listed during the reservation process in the third section. You can discontinue the reservation process at any time. Prices listed include all taxes and fees applying at the time of the reservation. The service providers establish their pricing independently. Therefore, regional price differences are likely and 2beGROUP s.r.o. has no control over them.
Reservations are always only made in euros. The customer may complete the reservation in USD, CHF, or GBP at the daily exchange rate. 2beGROUP s.r.o. is in no way liable for the correctness of the exchange rate shown. Any bank or wire transfer fees as well as any fluctuations in the exchange rate up to and including the time the reservation is finalized are the customer’s responsibility and shall be paid by the customer. other than euros.
2beGROUP s.r.o. will charge an additional handling fee of between €1.- and €5.-. Fee levels depend on the amount charged for the reservation, as follows:
The handling fee will not be reimbursed if the reservation is cancelled.Go to top
If a promotional code is used with the reservation or another discounting system which you access through 2beGROUP s.r.o., the following maximum discount rates will apply as governed by the country in which the reservation is made:
2beGROUP s.r.o. reserves the right to cancel a reservation within 3 days of its making if a discount exceeds the maximum amount listed.Go to top
Payments can be made via credit card, Paypal, or depending on the country, by other payments accepted by 2beGroup s.r.o. . There are two payment possibilities:
2beGROUP s.r.o. has the right to charge the customer’s credit card and/or collect the higher fee amount for any follow-up or subsequent reservations that are made.Go to top
By completing the reservation, the customer confirms the accuracy of any personal information.
Reservations made by customers are deemed accepted only when the customer has received the
reservation confirmation from 2beGROUP s.r.o..
The customer has the duty to immediately review the reservation confirmation for accuracy and errors. 2beGROUP s.r.o. must be immediately advised of errors in and changes to the reservation confirmation.
The customer will not receive separate documentation for hotel or ski-course reservations. The customer will be able to fulfill the reservation by showing the reservation confirmation directly at the reservation site.
You may cancel this reservation in writing with the following conditions:
2beGROUP s.r.o. will provide no refund if the customer delays the reservation. The same will apply if the customer prematurely terminates the contract (returns the rented equipment prior to the termination of the rental period, terminates the ski class prior to the last day of classes, leaves the hotel prematurely, etc.). The customer may receive a pro-rata reimbursement for any days remaining for rental or ski classes if the customer can provide documentation and medical certification of illness or accident. Any other agreements reached between the customer and the service provider are, and remain, independent of this contract.
When submitting the reservation confirmation, the customer must present the rental shop with an official picture ID (for example, passport, national identification card, or official driver’s license) and expressly agrees to the service provider making copies of these documents. Except for 1 to 2 day reservations for night skiing, the equipment can be picked up in the particular rental shop in France starting at 4:00 p.m. and in other countries at 3:30 p.m. of the day before the rental date. The equipment must be returned before the end of business on the last day of the rental period. The customer is responsible for finding out when the closing times are. In the event the equipment is needed for longer periods, the difference between the actual rental period and the reserved and/or paid rental period is due on-site at the rental shop and is subject to local rental terms and conditions. If the rented equipment or parts thereof are not returned on time, the customer will be subject to an additional charge. The rented equipment must be returned in suitable operating condition.
Rental equipment may be exchanged for a higher category according to the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement, however 2beGROUP s.r.o. reserves the right in such cases to charge the higher rates and fees incurred by the higher rental amount (see clause 1.4). The exchange of rental equipment for a higher category on or after the first day of the rental is subject to the local rental shop’s terms and conditions. 2beGROUP s.r.o. will not reimburse any funds when equipment is exchanged for a lower category. Any other agreement reached by and between the customer and the service provider is, and remains, independent of this contract.
The customer will assume full responsibility for the equipment and agrees to use and care for it according to its function and conditions of use. The customer may request an exchange if the equipment shows defects or damage at the time it is received. Both parties may cancel the contract if an exchange is not possible. The equipment may not be transferred to or used by third parties. 2beGROUP s.r.o. expressly points out the risks arising from the ski bindings if the skis are exchanged or replaced in an unauthorized manner. The customer must ensure that the equipment is stored in such a manner that any confusion or theft is prevented. The equipment rented is not insured. Unless the customer expressly agrees to INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. assuming the risk, the customer assumes any liability for breakage, damage or theft and repair costs incurred and time expended by the service provider.
Any disputes arising from or relating to online reservations on www.alpinresorts.com are subject to and governed exclusively by the laws of Slovakia. Venue and substantive jurisdiction lies in the courts of Bratislava.Go to top
INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. offers a cancellation protection to its customers until the first day of rental. During this period this service guarantees the abolition of cancellation fees from point 1.6.1. This service can be accepted at the time of the reservation for an amount equal to 5% of the total reservation price. Cancellation coverage can only be obtained at the time the main reservation contract is entered into. It must be paid in advance and will be settled at the time the reservation or reservation deposit is paid. In the event this cancellation coverage is purchased and the customer cancels the reservation until the first day of rental, INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. will return the entire paid or deposited reservation price. Transaction and other processing fees will not be returned or compensated and are not covered. Cancellation coverage can only be obtained at the time the main reservation contract is entered into. The premium must be paid in advance and will be settled at the time the reservation or reservation deposit is paid. In the event this cancellation coverage is purchased and the customer cancels the reservation, INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. will return the entire paid or deposited reservation price. Transaction and other processing fees will not be returned or compensated and are not covered.Go to top
The following terms and conditions apply if the customer accepts the ALPINGUARANTY option:
The reservation agreement is entered into directly by and between the customer and the rental or leasing shop. The customer assumes liability for damages or theft and thus indemnifies the rental or leasing shop. The object of the contract is for INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. to provide warranty accession (ALPINGUARANTY) in the event the rented equipment is damaged or stolen.Go to top
When the data is filled out in the entry fields and reservation process completed, INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. will assume the customer’s risks for any claims for damages or theft to or of the lessor’s equipment. INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. will therefore provide the customer with indemnification if such is sought by the lessor. The amount of warranty accession provided by INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. is equal to the market value of the equipment but is no more than EUR 250.00 per event for children’s equipment and EUR 450.00 for adolescent and adult equipment. Accordingly, no coverage in excess of said amounts is granted.Go to top
The customer must notify INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. immediately of any damages. The notice of damages or loss must include the reference number for the reservation, the customer’s and the rental or leasing shop’s name and address, the location where the damage or theft took place, a description of how the incident happened, a description of the equipment, and a police report duly filed with the local police authority having prosecutorial jurisdiction over the matter and/or a confirmation by the rental or leasing shop of the damage and the names and addresses of any witnesses.Go to top
Where it has not received a notice of claim, INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. will not be obligated to provide indemnification.
The amount of warranty accession (ALPINGUARANTY) provided by INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. is only related to the equipment listed in the reservation confirmation and exclusively to the reservation period. INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. will not be liable nor does it grant indemnification under the coverage provided if the customer extends the rental contract directly at the rental shop and damage or theft occurs during the extended period. If the customer reserves equipment of a better quality directly in the rental shop, then INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. will only indemnify for the amount which it would have been liable for had the originally agreed-to rented equipment been damaged or stolen. The customer will not bear any liability where INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. is able to directly resolve the matter with the rental shop prior to the customer’s payment and where INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. directly compensates the rental shop for the damages.Go to top
INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. is not liable for damages arising from or related to the improper use of the sport equipment. In particular, INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. assumes no liability and grants no indemnification for any injuries or damages to the customer’s or any third party’s person or property. In addition, INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. assumes liability and grants indemnification only when the sports equipment is damaged while being used by the customer and not if the customer allows third parties to use the equipment.
We deem the customer’s personal adjustment of the equipment bindings and/or fixtures to be improper equipment usage. In addition, INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. will assume no liability and grant no indemnification for any wear and tear arising from the ordinary and regular use of the equipment. Therefore, we provide no coverage for improvement of surfaces, wax applications, or for sharpening ski edges.Go to top
INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SKI HIRE s.r.o. will charge a fee for the warranty accession (ALPINGUARANTY) of
15% of the total reservation amount for the reserved equipment. The fee must be paid in advance and
is settled at the time of the payment or down payment of the reservation.
If the customer does not decide to purchase ALPINGUARANTY until after the reservation is made, then the amount can be paid later but in any case no later than two days before the date of rental.
Any dispute arising from or relating to the Warranty accession (ALPINGUARANTY) is subject to and governed exclusively by the laws of Slovakia. Venue and substantive jurisdiction lies in the courts of Bratislava.
During the booking process the client has the possibility to book ALPINSAFETY - the perfect protection against high financial expenses in case of an accident. ALPINSAFETY covers the search and rescue costs and transport costs to the nearest hospital. ALPINSAFETY is valid for all persons in a booking.
