Ski rental in Les Menuires - Olympic relaxation in the heart of the French Alps

Above the authentic mountain village of Saint Martin de Belleville, just 50 km from the Olympic resort of Albertville, the modern and extensive ski resort of Les Menuires lies in the heart of the French Alps at an altitude of 1,850 metres above sea level. As part of the large ski area Les Trois Vallées, the Three Valleys, the snow-sure ski resort with its French charm is popular with young and old.

Les Menuires: facts, facts, facts

Created in 1964, the ski resort with its 70s-style buildings, but also the new Savoyard-inspired chalets and detached residences, was created according to the famous Plan Neige concept, which is why it is now considered a prime example of modern architecture. This unusual, but also unique architectural image, has already earned its buildings several prizes and honours. For example, the Brelin residence was awarded the "Heritage of the 20th Century" label and the contemporary bell tower won the first prize for metallic architecture in 2000.

Furthermore, the ski area around Les Menuires is also the gateway to the most famous and largest ski area in the world: Les 3 Vallées. It offers access to eight different resorts, 600 kilometres of pistes on 339 runs of all colours, almost 90% of which are at 1,800 metres above sea level, 50,000 km of descent from the most famous and arguably the most important peaks in the Alps, such as the Cime de Caron at 3,200 metres, the Saulire at 2,700 metres and the Mont du Vallon at 2,952 metres, and over 160 ski lifts.

10 reasons to go skiing in Les Menuires

.... In addition to the good reasons to rent skis online in advance such as saving time on site, changing equipment at the ski rental shop at no extra charge or up to 65% cheaper prices, there are also good reasons to book your ski holiday in Les Menuires.

  • 5 months, 150 days, 1,200 hours... The ski season in Les 3 Vallées is much longer than in other ski resorts. For this reason, skiers from all over the world have been coming to this ski resort for 20 years now. From the beginning of December to the end of April - almost half a year (!) - you can spend here skiing. Of course, our ski rental shops are also open until the end of the season.
  • The realities of the elements... With its location ranging from 1,800 to 3,230 metres and 85% of all pistes being above 1,800 metres, you can be sure of swinging down to the valley on snow-covered runs in Les Menuires. In addition, there are over 2,300 snowmakers in Les Vallées who step in when the weather gods are not kind to the skiers. In order to maintain the perfect picture, 70 piste groomers work every night under the cover of darkness to prepare and groom the snow surface for the next day. A little tip on the side: if the snow conditions change, you can change your ski equipment for free in our ski rental shops.
  • Les 3 Vallées has the largest number of interconnected runs in Europe. Between Courchevel and Orelle spans a network of 600 kilometres of pistes covering 1,500 hectares. This means that the 5 largest ski areas in the USA can be accommodated in the Les 3 Vallées ski area. In each of these areas you will of course find shops where you can book ski equipment online in advance.
  • Due to the size of the ski area around Les Menuires, skiers are never limited by weather conditions. If it is too foggy in the valley, you can immediately "hike" to higher areas without much effort.
  • Skiing fun for all levels can also be found around the ski resort of Les Menuires. From the beginners' area with gentle hills to the steepest black runs - which, by the way, are systematically not groomed, much to the delight of deep snow and mogul lovers - you will find everything in Les 3 Vallées. Beginners in particular can also rejoice, as more than half of all the slopes are classified green and blue. You can of course book a ski set for all levels online at any time with our rental partners.
  • XXL off-pistes for the wilder ski sport friends who don't want to be forced into limitations are of course also available around Les Menuires. Wild routes wind through Gebroulaz, Le Borgne, Geffrian and Lac du Lou.
  • Variety wherever you look, different landscapes and atmospheres. From luxurious Courchevel-Moriond to Méribel Altiport or La Tania or the mountainside of Mont Vallon to the village flair of St. Martin de Belleville, the rocky backdrop of Orelle or the party zone of La Folie Douce and Val Thorens.
  • Not quite like ski hire, where you come into the shop without your skis and out with your ski set at best, this ski area has 11 ski-in ski-out routes across a variety of mountain tops that allow you to switch between different ski areas. These include: La Saulire peak (2,738 m) between Courchevel and Méribel, Col de La Loze (2,304 m) between Courchevel and Méribel, Tougnète peak (2,434 m) between Méribel and Les Menuires, Roc de Fer between Méribel and St Martin de Belleville (2,290 m), Mont de la Chambre (2,850 m) in Les Menuires, Cime Caron (3,200 m) in Val Thorens and a few more.
  • Play-fun-excitement-skiing and much, much more! This ski area is so versatile that adventure-seekers and adrenaline junkies will also get their money's worth. The Liberty Ride in Les Menuires, for example, is the most popular off-piste for experienced skiers. But with a gradient of 37%, the Méribel Vertical Xperience is certainly also interesting for them. In Val Thorens in the VT Park, freestyle ski fans in particular will certainly find a lot of fun on an area of 70,000 m². For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, the toboggan runs take you through the entire ski area.
  • Tailor-made ski holidays with the best ski rental shops in the whole region. You can also have a great holiday in this ski area at a reasonable price. Lots of youth hostels or low-cost apartments, takeaway snack bars for younger and budget-conscious holidaymakers, as well as luxury chalets, 5-star palaces and Michelin-star restaurants - this ski resort has something for everyone. What's more, when you book your ski equipment or the entire ski set online, you'll find prices many times better than when you book on site!

Les Menuires and its villages: Croisette, le Bruyères and Reberty

Like many other resorts, Les Menuires is made up of different districts such as Croisette, le Bruyères and Reberty, each of which has its own special advantages.

It has already been mentioned that Les Menuires has something for all levels of skiers. However, there are two "Piou Piou" children's villages in Croisette and le Bruyères, where even the smallest children from the age of 3 months are well looked after.

Les Menuires Reberty is home to the large 6-seater high-speed cable car, which can be coupled, is 5 metres per second fast and can transport 2,600 people per hour. It connects the ski resorts of Val Thorens, Les Menuires, Méribel and Courchevel.
