What also helped Westendorf, of course, was its connection to the third largest ski area in the world. For a long time, the ski area between Brechhorn and Choralpe was considered a skier's secret tip - today it has achieved a very special place in the world of winter sports. Many pistes invite connoisseurs and experts alike, as well as snowboarders to the Boarders Playground - probably one of the best-known and hottest fun parks in the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser. There is also a spacious ski area exclusively for beginners, novices and families, which is located in the valley. You will also find two highlights here that will leave no winter sports fan cold: one of the longest and the steepest slopes in the entire Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser.
You can also reach the opposite side of the Brixental from Westendorf via the Kandler run and the Kirchberg-Kitzbühel ski area via the Ki-West run.
