Valloire Valloire in the valley called "Vallée d´Or" is situated on an altitude of 694 m in the French Alpes. The town at the banks of the river Arc counts 1243 inhabitants. Valloire is composed of 17 different settlements. Together with the nearby village of Valmeinier Valloire forms the ski area of Galibier Thabor. Valloire is in the department of Savoy.

Moreover, the village of Valloire counts different chapels and clock towers of baroque style that contribute to the charm and atmosphere of this old Savoy village.
