At an altitude between 1550 an 1718 m, Les Saisies owns a unique natural site: the peat bog. The peat bog in Les Saisies is a relict of the ancient glacial periods and was listet in the programme of “Natura 200”. It is a protected biotope, so be careful picking plants, which is not allowed.
