The recommended time for skiing in the area is from the middle of December up to the middle of March. During this time, there are plenty of possibilities for ski hire in La Norma, snowboarding and other outdoor activities. The net of ski resorts in this area of France is very close knit. At La Norma, there are twentyseven slopes between which you can choose altogether. Several of them are black ones (about eleven) but unexperienced skiers will find their matching slopes, too. The other two possibilities to arrive per plain are to get a flight to Switzerland, either to Grenobles airport or to Geneva. Both airports are approximately two hours away from La Norma. If you want to go to La Norma by car you would have to park it outside the village because no cars are allowed inside.
