About La Feclaz
The ski resort of La Feclaz is situated in the Bauges Mountains and has about 660 inhabitants. It is located at 1,400m (4.593 ft) above sea level. La Feclaz is part of the Dèserts commune in the eastern part of the Savoie department. The nearest bigger city is Chambery, which is 10km (6.2 miles) south-west of the village.

La Feclaz has a great reputation for its winter sport facilities. The difficulty level of its eleven pistes varies from green, for easy, to black for difficult. Cross-country skiing, dog sledging and snowshoes are also readily available. The pistes total 190km² (73.5 sqm) and can easily be accessed by four lifts. During summer, horseback riding, hiking and climbing are most popular with tourists.

The La Feclaz resort is linked to the two other resorts of the Grand Savoie Revard region: Le Plainpalais and Le Revard. The city of Chambery, the siege of middle age dukes, offers a variety of castles, churches and monuments to visit.
