About Avoriaz

Avoriaz is one of the most famous ski resorts with just 150 residents. 80 km's from Geneva, 96 km's from Anneoy and 200 km's from Lyon, in 1800 meters altitude. The village looks like thrown in between the mountains. There are no cars allowed. People go by horse coaches or just walk.

You can enjoy traveling via chair lift, there are 24 of them. Avoriaz has 39 lifts and 49 pists, 24 chair lifts, 4 ski and snowboardschools. The magnificent view to the big mountains will take your breath away. Fly with a helicopter or a hot air balloon. Try diving under ice or paragliding.
