About Areches Beaufort

Areches Beaufort is a French commune in the Alpes. The city has about 1985 inhabitants, they are called Beaufortains. Beaufort is close to the massif of Beaufortain and the Pont fleuri.

In the city you can visit the Barrage de Roselend which is a big dam that ponds the lake of Roselend. To learn about history, you should see the ruins of the old castle built in the 13tf century or the castle Randens which was built in the 16th century.
