Bonascre (Ax les Thermes) is a French ski resort located within the Pyrenees Mountains in the Ariège valley. In a scenic location between Saquet peaks and the Bonascre plateau, Bonascre provides a unique mixture of sports and nature. Grab your equipment from the local ski hire and check out the resort’s 26 ski runs, including 9 green, 11 red, 4 blue, and 2 black runs. Bonascre offers slopes from 1400-2000 m, which makes it the perfect spot to learn to ski or enjoy an array of snow sports. The resort offers year-round activities focused on the beautiful thermal spas at Ax les Thermes and the white water river. The Tour de France speeds through the area on an annual basis, many times ending here.

The springs have been a popular attraction since ancient Romans used them to treat rheumatism and other illnesses. The spa town has attracted tourists since the 19th century with many people throughout Europe coming to enjoy the 60 thermal springs.
