St Pierre del Forcat is a community in the Prades District of the Pyrenees-Orientales Department of France's Languedoc-Rousillon Region. St Pierre del Forcat is also the name of the village in this community that is a famous ski and ski hire resort. The community covers 12.81 square km, has an elevation of between 1,320m and 2,750m and, in 1999, had a population of 213. Along with several other skiing and ski hire resorts in the area including Font-Romeu, Porte Puymorens and Eyne 2600, St Pierre de Forcat forms what is known as the Cerdagne area of the Pyrenees region. The nearest airport is at Perpignan, only one hour and twenty minutes away, and the nearest villages are La Cabanasse and Mont-Louis.
