About Bareges

Barèges is a little village at the Pyrénées. There are about 258 inhabitants living here, so that there are 5 inhabitants living on each square kilometer. It is the second oldest ski resort in France and the resort is today the largest ski area in the French Pyrénées.

There are a lot of thermal baths in the city and even a church. The city is placed near the river Bastan with a lot of lakes, like the Lac de Peyrelade, the Lac Bleu and the Lac d'Escoubous.
