Scheffau Nestled in the foothills of Austria’s magnificent Wilder Kaiser Mountains is the Ski village of Scheffau. This picturesque ski area is part of Austria’s Ski Welt circuit which is the largest group of ski runs in the country. Scheffau has fantastic snow conditions. You can find ski hire in Scheffau for all members of the family, including “Kaiserland” for children. Kaiserland, Scheffau’s children’s ski school, begins teaching kids to ski at the age of two.

Scheffau am Wilden Kaider is actually a municipality that is part of the district known as Kufstein. The population of the village is 1,333 residents and it dates back to the 12th century. The city of Kirstein is about 8.5 km away from the resort and the ski hire circuit.
