Mayrhofen Mayrhofen is a small town in Austria located in the state of Tyrol in the Ziller Valley region. The elevation of this town is 633 meters above the sea level. It is situated in a mountain territory. As of 2003, Mayrhofen has a population of less than 4000 people. The biggest city near this little town is Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol state.

Mayrhofen Parish Church has been rebuilt in 1509 after it was burned. The interior is the oldest architecture monument of this town. The visitors can found here the ceiling painting by Max Weiler, called "Rose of Jericho".
